Searching for a node

In order to easily locate specific elements within a 3D model, a search function is available. Use keywords to match a name and find the desired element:

• Click on the button (in the bottom right-hand corner) to open Scene column.

• Type in the Search bar at the top of the Scene column to find a specific node.

You can use advanced syntax to match part of the node's name. For instance, in the example above, you can use "basement*" to match all nodes whose name start with "basement". Learn how to accurately find what you're looking for with advanced search.

Please note a few things:

• The 3D scene is also affected by your search: only nodes that match the query are visible
• The query is affected by the active layers (don't forget to enable all layers to search in the whole scene)

If you want to save the search results, you can easily add them to a layer.
