Why does the scene turn black when the device wakes up after going to sleep?

In order to optimize battery life, Android loses some resources when the device goes to sleep. That is why you will see a black scene when your Android device wakes up after going to sleep.

To avoid this from happening, turn off battery optimizations for the SmartShape application by following the steps below. On your Android device: - Go to Settings. - Go to Apps. - Click on the three vertical dots on the top right and choose Special Access from the drop-down list. - Click on Optimize battery usage. - Click on the Apps not optimized drop-down list and choose All apps (or All). - Scroll until you find SmartShape and switch the toggle off to deactivate the battery optimizations for SmartShape.
